The new robot vacuums that caught our eye at CES 2025
CES is known for splashy TV and laptop launches, but in 2025, there were more than a few companies trying to make waves with robot vacuums, too. After years where it seemed like vacuuming, mopping, and self-emptying might be the peak of a robot vacuum's abilities, this year's show introduced home robots with whole new functionality -- and appendages. Here's the robot vacuums that caught our eye at CES 2025, many of which you could invite to clean your living room later this year. Roborock's flagship vacuum for 2025 is the Roborock Saros Z70, a circular robot vacuum on the outside, that hides a retractable "OmniGrip" arm that can pick up and move objects on the inside. The arm is capable of five axis movement and is only able to carry around 300 grams, which makes it better at moving clothes and cables than anything truly heavy.
Eufy's new robot vacuum can transform into a stick vac
CES is known for putting the spotlight on wacky innovations and Eufy came prepared for this year's event. The company just revealed its E20 robot vacuum, which can actually transform from a traditional robovac to a manually-controlled stick vac. This is the first time we've seen something like this. Some robovacs include additional stick vacuums, but do not transform into them. On the outside, it looks similar to competing robot vacuums from companies like Roomba.
iRobot says its new robot vacuum and mop outperforms 600 Series Roombas for 275
Robot vacuums are handy little devices that can help folks save a ton of time and energy. However, some of the more well-known options are often a bit pricey, especially when a mopping function comes into the mix. As it happens, iRobot has revealed a relatively budget-friendly 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop. It says the 275 Roomba Combo Essential actually outperforms the Roomba 600 Series thanks to 20 times more suction power, and the addition of a mop and smart navigation. According to iRobot, this model offers 25 percent better performance at picking up dirt from hard floors than the Roomba 600 Series.

Greenworks moves indoors with its new robot vacuum, but is it any good?
The Greenworks GRV-5011 is a robot vacuum-mop hybrid. When the vacuum returns to its dock after cleaning, a secondary vacuum empties out the dust bin and places the contents into a self-sealing bag. This robot also has a mop attachment located on the bottom-rear section of the unit along with with a 350ml water tank. For people who are interested in smart technology, the Greenworks robot vacuum is compatible with a free app that allows users to start, stop, schedule, and direct the robot to clean specific areas. The self-sealing bag prevents dirt from escaping when you empty it.
